Description

Copidognathus aurorae Newell, 1951

Report associated with sponges: This species was reported Oglala Pass, Rat Islands, Alaska on bryozoans, sponges, and hydrozoans at the depth of 54.86 m (180 feet) (Newell 1951b); also found from Arctic Ocean, 60 miles southwest of Barrow, Alaska among sponges, bryozoans, sand, at depth of 76.2 m (250 feet) (Newell 1951b).

Reamrks: This species was also reported among algae, sand and gravel from Alaska, Bering Sea, Arctic Ocean (Newell 1951b, c).
