FEMALE (8 specimens measured). Dorsal shield 341 (320–355) long and 224 (215–230) wide; j1 19 (17– 30), j3 22 (20–25), j4 10 (10–11), j5 10 (10–11), j6 11 (10–12), J2 12 (11–13), J5 10 (10–11), z2 13 (12–14), z4 13 (11–15), z5 10 (9–11), Z1 14 (13–15), Z4 39 (37–41), Z5 75 (73–76), s4 26 (24–30), S2 12 (11–13), S4 10 (9–10), S5 9 (9–10), r3 17 (16–17), R1 13 (11–15); distances between st1-st3 56 (53–58), st2-st2 64 (61– 69) and st5-st5 66 (63–69); ventri-anal shield 117 (111–123) long, 90 (85–93) wide at level of ZV2 and 85 (78–90) wide at level of anus; JV5 40 (37–43); movable cheliceral digit 28 (26–30) long, with 3 teeth; fixed cheliceral digit 28 (27–29) long, with 8 teeth; calyx of spermatheca 5 (4–6) long; Sge I 30 (29–31), Sge II 28 (27–29), Sge III 32 (30–34), Sti III 26 (25–27), Sge IV 46 (45–48), Sti IV 39 (38–42), St IV 57 (54–60).

Specimens examined: Sud Mennucci (20°39' S, 50°54' W), September 2007, on B. decumbens (4 Ƥ). Palestina (20°17' S, 49°03' W), June 2008, on B. brizantha (22 Ƥ, 7 3). Novo Horizonte (21°03' S, 49°18' W), July 2008, on B. brizantha (25 Ƥ, 8 3), on B. decumbens (28 Ƥ, 7 3). Piracicaba (22°41' S, 47°37' W), on B. decumbens (8 Ƥ), on M. minutiflora (5 Ƥ). Campinas (22°54' S, 47°01' W), August 2008, on B. decumbens (12 Ƥ, 5 3), on P. purpureum (3 Ƥ). Onda Verde (20°32' S, 49°14' W), August 2008, on P. maximum (5 Ƥ).

Remarks: This species was previously known from Brazil, Colombia, Peru (Guanilo et al. 2008a), Puerto Rico and Trinidad. Measurements of the specimens collected are close to those of the original description.
