Description

Plusioglyphiulus cavernicolus (Silvestri, 1923)

Glyphiulus cavernicolus —Koilraj & Marimuthu, 1999: 339 (R); Koilraj et al., 2000: 757 (M); Marimuthu & Koilraj, 2004: 27 (M). India, “near Madurai”.

Remarks: Described from Bidi Caves (Silvestri 1923) which are actually in Sarawak, Borneo (Jeekel 2004, Golovatch et al. 2009), G. cavernicolus has been falsely reported from India (Koilraj & Marimuthu 1999), which is based on an unidentified cambalopsid from a cave in Samanar Hills near Madurai (N 9°58’, E 78°10’).
