Typhloiulus sculterorum Brolemann 1905

Description

Typhloiulus sculterorum Brölemann, 1905

Typhloiulus sculterorum Brölemann, 1905

Typhloiulus (?, subg.?) sculterorum: Strasser 1962

Distribution. France: Villeneuve-Loubet and Théoule (original localities!).

Remarks. The quite crude original drawings do not allow for any solid conclusions to be made on the species’ identity. Strasser (1962) noted that, according to the visible gonopod characters, T. sculterorum has no obvious relatives in the known Typhloiulini, and suggested its placement in a subgenus or genus of its own.
