Terra typica: South China Sea (Republic of the Philippines, Asia) South China Sea:
• 09°14′N, 117°59′E; 1–2 m bsl: [FAO71] Type Locality: Republic of the Philippines, Palawan Island, Quezon,
Tabon Beach, shell gravel. Chang & Rho (1997b)

Remarks: This species is known only from the type locality.
