Description

Dalatias licha (Bonnaterre, 1788)

Squalus licha Bonnaterre 1788: 12. Type locality: Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada. Dalatias licha, Golani, 1987: 27, 28; Pisanty & Golani, 1995: 389; Corsini-Foka, 2009: 127.

Distribution. The species is found in the Atlantic, Pacific, Indian Ocean and the Mediterranean, at a depth range 37–1800 m.
