Gulf Corvina. To 70 cm (27.6 in) (Robertson and Allen 2008). Chileno Bay, tip of Baja California (John Snow, pers. comm. to M.L.), Gulf of California (Robertson and Allen 2008). Marine and brackish waters (Fricke et al. 2020); depth: 1–86 m (3–282 ft) (min.: Robertson and Allen 2008; max.: Personal communication: Scripps Institution of Oceanography Fish Collection, La Jolla, California).
