Sebastes wilsoni

Description

Sebastes wilsoni (Gilbert, 1915).

Pygmy Rockfish. To 25 cm (9.8 in) FL, 28.5 cm (11.2 in) TL (Personal communication: University of Washington, Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture Fish Collection, Seattle, Washington). Kodiak Island, northern Gulf of Alaska (Maslenikov et al. 2013) to 60 Mile Bank, southern California (32°01’N, 118°13’W) (Butler et al. 2012). Benthic; depth: 29–391 m (95–1,282 ft) (min.: Mecklenburg et al. 2002; max.: DFO).
