Avocettina bowersii Garman, 1899.
Smalleye Snipe Eel. To 67.5 cm (26.8 in) SL (Personal communication: Scripps Institution of Oceanography Fish Collection, La Jolla, California). Eastern and central Pacific; Patton Seamount, Gulf of Alaska (Personal communication: University of Washington, Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture Fish Collection, Seattle, Washington); San Francisco, northern California (Charter in Moser 1996) to northern Chile (19°44’S) (Kong and Meléndez 1991). Pelagic; depth: 0–4,000 m (13,120 ft) (Robertson et al. 2017).
