Holotype: ♂. MEXICO: Veracruz, Huatusco-Conejos, 13/VIII/1974.
Conservation status: Complete, well-preserved.
Additional notes: The current name of this species is Paraplateros guadalupae (Zaragoza-Caballero, 1999) (see Kazantzev, 2011).
