Conservation status: Complete, well-preserved.
Paratype: 1 ♂. MEXICO: Veracruz, Estación de Biología Tropical Los Tuxtlas, UNAM, 9/VII/1989. Col. H. Rojas, J. L. Colin.
Conservation status: Complete, well-preserved; genitalia glued on a triangle.
Additional notes: The name of this species was replaced with Plateros gorhamianus (see Kazantsev, 2011).
