Distribution in Iran. Alborz (Lindberg 1938), Bushehr, Fars, Kerman, Kuhgiloyeh & Boyerahmad, Tehran (Hoberlandt 1997), Golestan (Linnavuori 2008; Modarres Awal 2008), Isfahan (Hoberlandt 1997; Ghahari et al. 2011a), Khorasan (Hoberlandt 1997; Linnavuori 2008; Modarres Awal 2008), Markazi (Ghahari et al. 2011a), Iran (no locality cited) (Göllner-Scheiding 2006b).
General distribution. Caucasus and Central Asia.
Host plants. On Rumex scutatus (Polygonaceae), Ephedra sp. (Ephedraceae) (Ghahari et al. 2011a).
