Crocothemis sanguinolenta Burmeister 1839

Description

Coll. Ris: 3 ♂ ♂, " Dead Sea," 7.9.13. vi.18 (Schwabel). These are without the usual dark spots on the dorsal and ventral carinae, which markings are, however, lacking in specimens from Abyssinia and some other parts of Africa. Small specimens with only two rows of discoidal cells in fore-wings. Abd. 20, h.-w. 24, pt. 2.5 mm.
