It is recommended that you get the code from this link to benefit from any code updates after the paper is resubmitted for peer review. This version at Zenodo is archived as submitted for paper proofing after fixing typos in the comments and the function calls.
The following steps are required to use the code:
1. Download the ESPER.zip file.
2. Extract it.
3. Open the Readme.docx and follow the "How to Set Up" and "Function Call Explanation" sections.
