Material examined. 2 females (slide number NJAUAcariEriW49), from Quercus sp. (Fagaceae), The Jiuhua Mountain, Anhui Province, P. R. China, 30°28'18" N, 117°48'10" E, elevation 621m, 3 October 2007, coll. Zi-Wei Song and Zhen Wang, vagrant on the host plant, occurred together with Cecidophyes tampae Keifer, 1966; 1 female (slide number NJAUAcariEriW100), from Quercus sp. (Fagaceae), The Tiantangzhai National Forest Park, Jinzhai County, Anhui Province, P. R. China, 31°09'57" N, 115°45'57" E, elevation 587m, 10 September 2008, coll. Zi-Wei Song and Zhen Wang, erineum on the host plant, occurred together with Cereusacarus maopingensis sp. nov. and Calesalquia tiantangzhaica sp. nov.
Host. Quercus alba, Q. virginana, Q. sp. (Fagaceae).
Relation to host. Erineum, vagrant.
Distribution. USA, China (Anhui).
