Xenotrichula tentaculata Rao & Ganapati, 1968

Records from India. ANDHRA PRADESH: Visakhapatnam (Waltair) – Rao & Ganapati (1968); ODISHA: Puri, Konarak, Bahuda estuary— Rao (1969, 1989); GENERAL RECORD: Naidu & Rao (2004).

Habitat (as in Indian records). Marine, intertidal; coarse and medium sands near half tide level.

Distribution. India (Bay of Bengal).

Remarks. Morphometric data for this species have been provided only once; the description appears rather scanty but sufficient to identify the species.
