(b) Current distribution of the laurel forest (grey) on the island and the study area in Bosque de Los Tilos. (c) Percentages of invertebrates and plants consumed, as detected after the barcode analysis. Each circle represents one location (including one or more separate microsites c. 200 m apart), located in the three plant formations (dominant laurel forest, Morella faya – Erica arborea woodland and fern patch).
