Aciculacarus amalis Cook, 1983
New record. 0/1/0, South Island. Cedar Creek, Westland National Park, 43°25.216 ′ S 170°04.430 ′ E, alt. 31 m asl, 24xii2014.
Distribution. Previously known from the type locality from North Island only, and here reported for the first time from South Island.
