Ceratopriomorphus humeralis Pic, 1922
Ceratopriomorphus humeralis Pic, 1922: 21.
Syntypes. 2 males, ‘ BRAZIL, São Paulo’, det. Pic (MNHN).
Diagnosis. Similar to following C. piceus, differs in light brown pronotal sides and in shorter phallobase.
Redescription. Whole body dark brown, only lateral margins and posterior angles of pronotum light brown (Fig. 2). Distance between eyes 1.5× longer than maximal eye diameter. Maxillary and labial palpi dark brown. Antennomere 3 1.4× shorter than 4 (Fig.8). Pronotum (Fig. 5) twice wider than long. Elytra 3.5× longer than wide in humeral portion. Male genitalia (Figs. 11–12) with phallus tapered distally, parameres as long as 2/5 of phallus, phallobase as long as parameres. Body length: 4.7 mm, humeral width: 1.1 mm.
