Typhlodromus (Typhlodromus) phialatus Athias-Henriot, 1960: 100; Wainstein, 1975: 915; Arutunjan, 1977: 46; Amitai & Swirskii, 1978: 136; Kolodochka, 1978: 53; Kolodochka, 1980: 43; 1981: 18; Chant & Yoshida-Shaul, 1987: 1796; Tixier et al., 2006; Papadoulis et al., 2009: 153.

Material examined. Four females, Çukurova University Campus-Adana, 15 March 2012, on Pinus brutia Ten. (Pinaceae). Specimens are deposited in the mite collection of the Acarology Laboratory, Department of Plant Protection, Çukurova University, Adana, Turkey.

Distrubution. Algeria, former U.S. S.R (Moldova, Russia, Ukraine), France, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Moracco, Norway, Spain (Moraes et al., 2004; Papadoulis et al., 2009) and Turkey (this study).
