Diagnosis. fPp = N/N/BNB; Pc = 3; Gn = 2; fSc: PL> AL ≥ AM; SB/PL; fCx = 1.1.1; fSt = 2.2; fD = 2H-8-6-6-4- 2-2; DS = 30; VS = 34; NDV = 64; Ip = 990–1120; AW 60–67, PW 70–82, SB 27–31, ASB 39–43, PSB 13–14, SD 52–57, AP 38–44, AM 49–58, AL 45–61, PL 55–66, S 81–87, H 49–60, D min 41, D max 48–58, V min 31–34, V max 43– 48, pa 340–375, pm 300–340, pp 350–405. Sensilla with single long branch.
Type data. Nepal, Mechi zone, Ilam District, from Rattus tanezumi Temminck [= Rattus rattus brunneusculus (Hodgson)].
