Description
Thalassograpsus harpax (Hilgendorf, 1892)
Persian Gulf. Iran (Naderloo 2011; present study).
Iran. Hormozgan Province: Qeshm I. (six stations along the south coast).
General distribution. Indo-West Pacific: Gulf of Aden, southern Oman (Dhofar), Persian Gulf, China, Taiwan, Japan, Philippines, Singapore, Cocos-Keeling Is., Samoa.
Habitat. Rocky/cobble intertidal.
Remarks. Detailed taxonomic remarks were given by Davie & Ng (2007) and Naderloo (2011).
