Description

Pediasia matricella (Treitschke, 1832)

Material examined: 1♂, 2♀, Kherson reg., Skadovsk distr., 2 km SW Burkuty, sands, steppe, 46°23’35”N, 32°46’53”E, at light, 14–15.IX.2019 (V. Yepishin) (VYe).

Distribution: N Italy, Hungary, Romania, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Greece, Jordan, Syria, Iran, Turkmenistan (Slamka 2008); Turkey (Koçak & Kemal 2018); Russia: Middle Volga and Volgo-Don regions, Caucasus and Buryatia (Sinev & Streltsov 2019); Ukraine: Crimea (Budashkin 2004) first record for Kherson region.
