Holotype male with labels: (1) printed with handwritten inscriptions on white label: “ Hainan Island Jianfeng / 1365m / Chinese Academy of Sciences ”; (2) printed with handwritten inscriptions on white label: “19 78.III.18 / collector Meiwei Cai and Bangliang Wang ”; (3) handwritten on white label: “ Anthomyia ”; (4) printed with handwritten inscriptions on red label: “ TYPE / Anthomyia / lasiommata / Fan et Chen / 1991 ”.
Preservation: pinned; specimen intact.
Current name: Anthomyia lasiommata Fan & Chen, 1992.
