Distribution: EAST MEDITERRANEAN (Pauly 2016e).

Literature. Blüthgen (1955): Bekaa, Baalbek, 1♀, locus typicus of the described female.

Material examined. Mount Lebanon: Chammis, Wadi Cheber, 373 m, 26.IV.2019, 1♀, det. Pauly A., leg. Boustani M., coll. MBOU.

N. Lebanon: Tannourine El Tahta, Wadi Ain El Raha, 900 m, 5.V.2017, 1♀, det. Pauly A., leg. Boustani M., coll. MBOU.

Flower record. Papaveraceae: Papaver sp.

Genus Sphecodes Latreille, 1804

Seven species.
