Comments. Zwick (1973) selected the male lectotype from a surviving olivian syntype from Klap á lek’s (1922) type series. Stark & Sivec (1998) noted this species was quite common at Woytkowski’s “Hacienda Maria” site in Peru where it represented about half the catch of stonefly specimens. They also reported the species from two sites in Cochabamba which are the only previous records from Bolivia.
