Quality Management Approaches for Performance Optimization in Extracurricular Education Service Providers

The article analyzes and describes the need for quality management in order to optimize the performance of extracurricular education service providers. Quality has become the main vector in the field of education in the context of two other complementary and determining factors: change and competition. The challenges of the contemporary world, as well as the current trend towards European integration require a competitive, performance-driven, quality education, compatible with modern education systems. In order to implement and ensure the functionality of the quality management system at institution level, it is necessary to develop a set of regulatory acts, such as: the concept of quality assurance in the institution; the strategic and operational plans of the educational institution; regulations regarding the quality management of educational services, approved by the Pedagogical Council; performance records etc.
