Description
Maladera pseudohongkongica Ahrens & Fabrizi, 2016
Material examined. 2 males: “ India: Tripura, North Tripura, 29 m, 23°35’N, 91°52’E, 16.v.2010, leg. B. K. Agrawala ” (NBAIR); 3 males: “ India: Meghalaya, Umiam, Barapani, 996 m, 25°68’N, 91°93’E, 21.vi.2019, leg. Niranjan ” (NBAIR); 1 male: “ India: Nagaland, Medziphema 360 m, 25°46’N, 93°53’E, 7.v.2016, leg. K. Sreedevi ” (NBAIR); 1 male: “ India: Assam, Teok 116 m, 26°83’N, 94°42’E, 17.v.2019, leg. K. Sreedevi and Badal Bhattacharya ” (NBAIR).
Remark. This is a new record to Tripura. The species is known from Meghalaya and surrounding north eastern region, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh (Ahrens & Fabrizi 2016).
