Description

This package contains a python tool allowing one to get a quick estimate of mass-loss rates from planets heated by stellar XUV based on hydrodynamic modeling. This is done by interpolation within the grid of upper atmosphere models being an extension of the one presented in Kubyshkina et al., 2018. The available planetary masses are in the range of 1-109 Earth masses, the radius range is 1-10 Earth radii, and the equilibrium temperatures are 300-2000 K.  The host stars are of 0.4-1.3 solar masses.
