Description

This file is an export of the data compiled within the standardized template of the World Atlas of Last Interglacial Shorelines (WALIS) database for New Zealand. The data is a compilation of relative sea-level indicator descriptions, including geographic position and elevation above a sea-level datum, and associated age constraints derived from previously published studies. There are 77 total indicators (direct, marine-, and terrestrial-limiting points) across the North and South Islands correlated with MIS 5, MIS 5e, MIS 5c, and MIS 5a.
