41. Haemaphysalis davisi Hoogstraal, Dhanda and Bhat, 1970b.
An Oriental species whose adults and nymphs have been found on Artiodactyla: Bovidae and Cervidae, and Perissodactyla: Equidae; adults alone have been collected from Carnivora: Felidae and Mustelidae. There are no records of Haemaphysalis davisi causing human parasitism.
