Description
186. Ixodes procaviae Arthur and Burrow, 1957.
An Afrotropical species whose adults and nymphs are usually found on Hyracoidea: Procaviidae, while adults alone have been found on Artiodactyla: Suidae. There are no records of Ixodes procaviae causing human parasitism.
