248. Ixodes vestitus Neumann, 1908b.

An Australasian species whose adults are usually found on Dasyuromorphia: Myrmecobiidae.All known parasitic stages have been recorded from Squamata: Elapidae, while females alone have been collected from Dasyuromorphia: Myrmecobiidae. There are no records of Ixodes vestitus causing human parasitism.
