Ixodes lunatus Neumann 1907

Description

132. Ixodes lunatus Neumann, 1907d.

An Afrotropical species whose females are usually found on Afrosoricida: Tenrecidae, but they have also been recovered from Rodentia: Nesomyidae. There are no records of Ixodes lunatus causing human parasitism.
