Type deposition. BMNH 1932.7.18.17.

Type data. Ex Leopoldamys sabanus (syn. Rattus sabanus vociferans), Malaysia, Selangor State, Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve.

Hosts. RODENTIA: Bandicota indica, Berylmys bowersi, Callosciurus caniceps, C. notatus, Dremomys pernyi, D. rufigenis, Lariscus insignis, Leopoldamys edwardsi, L. sabanus, Maxomys surifer, Menetes berdmorei, Niviventer cremoriventer, Rattus argentiventer, R. exulans, R. rattus, R. tanezumi, R. tiomanicus, Rhinosciurus laticaudatus, Sundamys annandalei, S. muelleri, Sundasciurus tenuis; CARNIVORA: Hemigalus derbyanus, Paradoxurus hermaphroditus, Prionailurus bengalensis, Prionodon linsang; SCANDENTIA: Ptilocercus lowii, Tupaia glis.

Distribution. Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam.
