Dissochaetus sinuosus Peck & Cook [2016] (Peck & Cook 2016

Description

D. sinuosus Peck & Cook, 2016: 95;

Peck, 1973b: 105 (as D. aztecus, misidentification—see Note); Salgado, 2018a: 69. Holotype male in SBPC [now in CMNC].

Type locality: 6.6 mi N Ixtlan de Juarez, 8300’, Oaxaca State, Mexico. Distribution: Mexico: Chiapas, Hidalgo, Jalisco, México, Michoacán, Nuevo León, Oaxaca, Puebla, Querétaro, San Luis Potosí, Tamaulipas, and Veracruz States.

Note: This species was misidentified as D. aztecus Szymczakowski [1971] in Peck, 1973b: 105 (Mexico: Nuevo León, San Luis Potosí, and Tamaulipas) (Peck & Cook, 2016: 86).
