Description

D. sokolowskii Szymczakowski, 1961: 155;

Salgado, 2002a: 253 (as D. monilis, misidentification—see Note), 2010b: 163 (assignment to group ovalis), 2014b: 98, 2018a: 64 (assignment to group).

Holotype male in NHMW.

Type locality: “ Venezuela (Dr. Moritz col., 1858)”.

Distribution: Ecuador: Cotopaxi Province; “ Venezuela ”. Note: This species was misidentified as D. monilis Murray [1856] in Salgado, 2002a: 253 (Ecuador: Cotopaxi Province: Otonga) (Salgado, 2014b: 97).
