Type deposition. S. centralkwangtunga: GPCD; S. alongensis: ZMMU (syntypes).

Type data. S. centralkwangtunga: ex Suncus murinus, China, Guangdong Province, Shunde; S. alongensis: ex Leopoldamys edwardsi [syn. Rattus grochovskii D. Tien (nomen nudum)], North Vietnam.

Hosts. RODENTIA: Bandicota indica, Leopoldamys edwardsi, Menetes berdmorei, Niviventer confucianus, N. niviventer, Rattus andamanensis, R. rattus, R. tanezumi, Tamiops mcclellandi; CARNIVORA: Herpestes javanicus; SORICOMORPHA: Crocidura horsfieldi, Suncus murinus; SCANDENTIA: Tupaia glis.

Distribution. China, Thailand, Vietnam.
