Description

Bathypogon chionthrix Hull, 1958b:161.

[Author’s Note: According to Dr. Nigel Wyatt, the holotype, allotype and eight paratypes are present in the BMNH collection; additionally there are six paratypes in the Hull collection in Ottawa according to Ms Lisa Bartels (CNC). Hull stated at the end of the published description that there were 16 male paratypes, in addition to the holotype and allotype, suggesting the subsequent destruction of two specimens.]
