Lectotype (Radcliffe-Smith in Polhill, Fl. Trop. E. Africa, Euphorbiaceae: 37. 1987): Herb. Linn. No. 1108.1 (LINN).

Generitype of Cicca Linnaeus.

Current name: Phyllanthus acidtis (L.) Skeels (Euphorbiaceae).
