Neotype (Simpson in Jarvis & al., Regnum Veg. 127: 33. 1993): Herb. Linn. No. 1238.1 (LINN).
Generitype of Chrysitrix Linnaeus.
Current name: Chrysitrix capensis L. (Cyperaceae).
