Description

Chironia dodecandra Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 1: 190. 1753.

"Habitat in Virginia." RCN: 2695.

Basionym of: Chlora dodecandra (L.) L. (1767).

Lectotype (Wilbur in Rhodora 57: 86. 1955): Clayton 120 (BM-000038166).

Current name: Sabatia dodecandra (L.) Britton & al. (Gentianaceae).
