Description

Centaurea salmantica Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 2: 918. 1753.

"Habitat in Europa australi." RCN: 6633.

Lectotype (Jeanmonod & al. in Jeanmonod, Compl. Prodr. Fl. Corse, Asteraceae II: 212. 2004): Herb. Clifford: 421, Centaurea 5 (BM).

Current name: Mantisalca salmantica (L.) Briq. & Cavill. (Asteraceae).
