Description
Axyris hybrida Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 2: 980. 1753.
"Habitat in Sibiria." RCN: 7098.
Lectotype (Suchorukow in Feddes Repert. 116: 175. 2005): Herb. Linn. No. 1101.5 (LINN).
Current name: Axyris hybrida L. (Chenopodiaceae).
Note: Freitag & al. (in Ali & Qaiser, Fl. Pakistan 204: 77. 2001) indicated 1101.5 (LINN) as type, but their omission of "designated here" or an equivalent (Art. 7.11) precluded this from being a valid choice. However, Suchorukow subsequently validated this typification, with “h.l.” (= hoc loco) used to confirm the intention to typify the name.
