Atropa mandragora Linnaeus, Systema Naturae, ed. 10, 2: 933. 1759, nom. illeg.

["Habitat in Hispaniae, Italiae, Cretae, Cycladum apricis."] Sp. Pl. 1: 181 (1753). RCN: 1438.

Replaced synonym: Mandragora officinarum L. (1753).

Lectotype (Knapp in Jarvis & al., Regnum Veg. 127: 64. 1993): Herb. Burser IX: 26 (UPS).

Current name: Mandragora officinarum L. (Solanaceae).

Note: An illegitimate replacement name for Mandragora officinarum L. (1753).
