Description
Antirrhinum triphyllum Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 2: 613. 1753.
"Habitat in umbrosis montibus Valentinis & Hylbaeis circa Syracusas." RCN: 4432.
Lectotype (Qaiser in Jafri & El-Gadi, Fl. Libya 88: 47. 1982): Herb. Linn. No. 767.9 (LINN).
Current name: Linaria triphylla (L.) Mill. (Scrophulariaceae).
Note: The type choice made by Qaiser is stated to have been published on 1 June 1982 which therefore narrowly pre-dates the choice of Herb. Clifford: 324, Antirrhinum 5 (BM) made by Viano (in Candollea 37: 223) and published on 31 July 1982.
