Description
Aira minuta Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 1: 64. 1753.
"Habitat in Hispania. Loefling." RCN: 552.
Lectotype (Scholz in Cafferty & al. in Taxon 49: 244. 2000): Löfling s.n. , Herb. Linn. No. 85.4 (LINN).
Current name: Molineriella minuta (L.) Rouy (Poaceae).
Note: Although Kerguélen (in Lejeunia, n.s., 75: 224. 1975) stated "Type: …LINN”, this is not accepted as a formal typification, for the reasons explained by Cafferty & al. (in Taxon 49: 240. 2000).
