Basionym: Carum bunias L. (1767).
Lectotype (Reduron & Jarvis in Jarvis & al. in Taxon 55: 210. 2006): [icon] "Saxifraga Petroselini vel Coriandri folio" in Morison, Pl. Hist. Univ. 3: 274, s. 9, t. 2, f. 16. 1699.
Current name: Ptychotis saxifraga (L.) Loret & Barrandon (Apiaceae).
