Lectotype (Turrill in Turrill & Milne-Redhead, Fl. Trop. E. Africa, Caryophyllaceae: 8. 1956): Herb. Hermann 3: 3, No. 100 (BM-000621797).
Current name: Polycarpaea corymbosa (L.) Lam. (Caryophyllaceae).
