Description

Laurus borbonia Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 1: 370. 1753.

Lectotype (Kopp in Mem. New York Bot. Gard. 14: 44. 1966): [icon] " Laurus Carolinensis, foliis acuminatis, baccis caeruleis, pediculis longis rubris insidentibus " in Catesby, Nat. Hist. Carolina 1: 63, t. 63. 1731.

Current name: Persea borbonia (L.) Spreng. (Lauraceae).
